11 random things about me and you

Well I was just tagged by Alexandra Williams to do a post sharing 11 random things about myself. I’m all about sharing especially if it can add value in any way to other people’s lives. I often try to explain how learning from my mistakes can be great, so hopefully you all can learn a little something from/about me.

Wow, you are one fast, efficient guy. I just love reading about you. Now I will tell you that my eldest son (now a high school senior) was a wrestler for 2 years. He’s a smallish guy, so wrestled the 112, then 119 weight class. It was torture watching him, but I was proud of how well he did. After taking on the military for your Patriot Push-ups, I am not surprised that you are comfortable in front of large groups!

  • Thanks for the kind words :-)

I’ll tell you as a coach that it can also be torture watching them wrestle! I frequently get frustrated with the nutrition of these young athletes and watching them suffer at performance time due to cutting weight really gets to me. With all that I have learned over the past several years, I try to show these kids how to eat and train without cutting and sacrificing performance. Sometimes it works, other times it just doesn’t sink in.

The USAF push ups were really fun! Great group of people that really came through!
